A Lavender cake Recipe
200g wheat flour
1/2 pot of natural yogurt
1/2 sachet of baking powder
1 pinch of salt
1 small handful of lavender flower
Preheat the owen to 180°C.
Whip the eggs with sugar to obtain a smooth cream.
Mix the flour, the baking powder et the salt.
Mix delicately the eggs into the creamy sugar.
Add the yogurt and mix.
In the end, add the lavender flower.
Pour the pastry in a buttered cake mold and put into Owen for 40 min approximately.
Remove the cake from the Owen and allow the cake to cool before tasting.
The taste of the lavender flower in the cake is slightly sharp and full of aroma resembling a little bit to rosemary or anise.
