Our fine lavender is grown and distilled in the traditional way at an altitude of 1000m on our Sarraud farm in Sault en Provence. Floral waters (hydrolats) are obtained by steam distillation. This distilled water is enriched with active compounds. Our floral waters are distilled with pure and natural rainwater.
Fine lavender floral water has purifying, rebalancing and soothing properties.

It is packaged in a blue glass spray bottle for ideal conservation.
Minimum of packaging, recyclable, for the respect of the environment.

We have been growing fine lavender on our farm for 6 generations of farmers.
We distil in the traditional way in order to guarantee the best quality of PDO fine lavender essential oil.
The plant is harvested at maturity in July-August and then distilled in its entirety with flowers and stems. Rainwater is converted into steam and cooled down to separate the PDO fine lavender floral water and the PDO fine lavender essential oil at the end of the distillation process.

The distillation of lavender
The lavender is placed in the still and the water steam passes through the flowers and is enriched with essential oil. The gaseous mixture of steam and essential oil then passes through a coil to condense.
This mixture arrives in a drum, called in French an essencier. As the essential oil is lighter than water, it rises to the surface where it can be skimmed off.
Part of the hydrolate is recovered for cosmetics, the other part returns to the circuit.

Floral water is produced by distillation. It is 100% natural, preservative-free and distilled with rainwater.

Spray floral water on the face morning and evening. Apply as a spray to the scalp. Massage to purify and tone. Do not rinse.

If you want to give a fresh fragrance to your clothes, you can use fine lavender floral water as a spray or while ironing.
It is also used to protect clothes from moths.

Shelf life after distillation: 6 months
